When you apply to test Story Forge, Fable Artifice collects the name, email address, platform, creative interest, and optional message you provide, together with the time of your application and consent.
Why we ask
We use these details to review applications, select testers, contact you about the beta, and coordinate testing. Applying does not subscribe you to a general newsletter, guarantee an invitation, or create a tester license.
Where your application goes
Applications are stored in the website’s hosted database and can be reviewed only in the project owner’s signed-in inbox. Applicant names, email addresses, and messages are not published on the website. The site and its database are hosted through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare.
Keeping the form usable
The form uses a hidden spam check and a temporary, hashed network identifier to limit repeated submissions. The rate-limit record expires after two hours and is cleared during subsequent submissions. Your network address is not stored with your application. Hosting providers may process request information to operate and secure the site.
A few practical details
Please avoid sharing sensitive information in your message. A repeat application using the same email keeps your original submission. If you are contacted about testing, you can reply to ask for your application to be corrected or removed, or to stop further beta contact.
You can read the site and apply without signing in. The owner’s review page uses ChatGPT sign-in.
